Our February Catholic Social Teaching is: Subsidiarity Subsidiarity teaches that decisions should be made at the most local level possible, ensuring that people have a voice in matters that affect their lives. Government's role is to promote human dignity, protect rights, and work for the common good. Higher authorities should intervene only when necessary to support justice and solidarity. Everyone should have a say. #ctrmanyandone #ctrcatholicsocialteaching #ctrfaith #IBelieveinCatholicEd “It is clearly laid down that the paramount task assigned to government officials is that of recognizing, respecting, reconciling, protecting and promoting the rights and duties of citizens.” (Saint John XXIII, Pacem in Terris, 77)

It was a big day of professional development at École Good Shepherd School. This morning our teachers took time to discuss best practices in the area of assessment. This afternoon we dove into pros and cons of artificial intelligence and how it can be a valuable tool for teachers. Our educational assistants spent the day learning about executive function and how we can help students develop these crucial skills.
👇🏼
Just a reminder that there will be no school for the students on Monday as teachers will be participating in professional development. Enjoy your long weekend and stay warm!
