🎓💛 Pre-K Grad is today and Days like these... we’ll always remember. 💛🎓 We’re not crying… okay, maybe just a little 🥹💧 Our Pre-K kiddos are growing up and heading off to Kindergarten in the fall! 🥹✨ With smiles, belly laughs, big dreams and lots of love, we celebrate all the joy, growth, and giggles that filled this special year. Today, students in grade two through six were lucky enough to see Evergreen Theatre put on a musical theatre show all about the resources Alberta has. It was a great mixture of Science and music. We even had 10 of our grade six students in the show!

Little scientists at work! 🧪🧁 From making ice cream to holding baby chicks, Science Day in kindergarten was full of sweet discoveries! We mixed up elephant toothpaste, grew rainbows, built piggy-proof houses, and even made balloons blow up on their own. Curiosity was the real magic ingredient! 🌈🐥🎈

Congratulations to Mme Danielle Boudreau, ÉGSS's winner of the Excellence in Teaching award this year. Danielle is a remarkable educator who wholeheartedly dedicates herself to her students, shaping them into both strong learners and compassionate individuals. She consistently goes above and beyond in planning and delivering engaging, meaningful lessons tailored to her students' needs. We are blessed to have Mme Boudreau as part of our school community!

Congratulations to Mrs. Carlina Nori, ÉGSS's award recipient for the Power of One Carlina's unwavering commitment has rightfully earned her EGSS's "Power of One" award. A cornerstone of Good Shepherd, she's a dynamic, proactive educational assistant. Within classrooms, her initiative is undeniable, seamlessly supporting teachers and students while expertly managing resources. We are so blessed to have her as part of our school community!

Yesterday, our Grade 3 classes presented our Living Rosary Liturgy 🙏🏼💙💛

The Grade 2s had a very special visitor today — Mayor Tanya Thorn! 🎉 She stopped by to personally thank the students for their incredible efforts in raising over 400lbs. of food for the Okotoks Food Bank before Easter. 🥫💛 Each student was presented with a certificate, an Okotoks pin, and a pencil as a token of appreciation. Merci, Mayor Thorn, for your time and kindness!
