Can't forget about the talent in our Grade 6 classes!! Awesome performances by all 🙌

Today, at our talent show, Zac got to fulfill his promise that if the school raised $500.00 for a school in Ukraine, they would get to pie a teacher. Congrats to Zac for his hard work and for being such an amazing citizen! The student who raised the most money also got to pie a teacher. Joe chose Mr. Bassett and Zac chose Mr. Lavery!

We still have quite a few books that need to be returned before the end of the school year (which is already this Wednesday). If you could take a look around your house/child's room and send any school books back with them before Wednesday it would be greatly appreciated.

The grade ones had a representative from the Lions Club that talked about Canada and how lucky we are to live in such an amazing country. Each child was given a certificate and their very own Canadian flag!

Huge Thank You to Mr. Richard Janzen for volunteering to read with our Grade One students each week! Our students look forward to seeing him every Wednesday. The students describe him as: kind, loving, awesome at reading, handsome, and smart! Mr. Richard says that each week he looks forward to the time that he gets to spend reading to (and reading with) the grade ones, and enjoys sharing his love for books!

WOW WOW WOW, the Grade 3 students rocked at the Talent Show today 🎉 so much talent, entertainment and pure Joy 🙌 Awesome work kiddos 🙌

Yesterday the Mrs. Riley's kindergarten class had their own wedding... the letters Q and U got married (because as you know Q and U stick together like glue!) Their grade 5 buddy class attended and Mr. Ford even officiated. Another great way to get our kindergartens familiar with their letters.

Yeehaw 🤠 This Friday, is our Western Theme Party here at ÈGSS!!

Our year-end mass is also our opportunity to say good-bye to our grade sixes before they head off to junior high.This has been an amazing group of students and we wish them all the best as they move on to grade seven. Also a big congratulations goes out to our two ATA Citizenship award winners.

We had our year-end mass and awards ceremony at St. James Parish yesterday and it was a great way to wrap up an amazing year. A huge thank you to the students for all the hard work they have put in this year and to our families for supporting them in their academic, social and spiritual growth.

We had some beautiful unexpected guests this morning as busses were arriving. A mother and her newborn fawns were seeking a little dryness under the ledge of the school by the office. We diverted the kids away to give them as much privacy as possible. Everyone was on cuteness overload though!!
