Heads up... Tuesday we are having a school wide PJ day 😴🎃

After three years of missing out we are very excited to be having our first school dance this Friday… so grab your Halloween costumes and come on out. It’s going to be a great evening.

Ecole Good Shepherd School is once again participating in Jacket Racket this year. If you have any gently used jackets, snow pants or winter boots that either you or your child no longer needs please send them in over the next week. This is great way to help out people in our local community.

This morning we had our first grade level mass of the year. Our grade four classes took the bus over to St. James Parish for the Bible Blessing Mass. Every student in grade four receives their own New Testament which has been donated by our School Council. #egssfaith

We have had an absolutely amazing fall so far! Our outdoor kindergarten program is making great use of it watering the plants, planting flowers, making things in the outdoor kitchen etc. Keep your fingers crossed for a mild fall and winter.

Our grade four classes had Michael in today from the Eco Centre telling them all about the ways they can recycle and reduce the amount of waste they produce. This links directly with their Science unit, Waste in Our World. #egssstaygreen

Our students had a lot of fun taking part in our Turkey Trot this morning. The weather was great and the kids got some exercise while they were at it!

The grade sixes are having an exciting week! All the instruments have arrived and band is getting underway. We are looking forward to seeing them make some huge improvements in the coming weeks.

Gobble Gobble... This coming Friday is our annual Turkey Trot here at ÉGSS 🦃 The students will get some exercise and a chance to win awesome prizes 🙌🎉

Another amazing race day for our cross country teams at St. Mary’s!!!

What a beautiful and exciting day yesterday as we hosted our Cross Country Meet! Thank you to all the coaches, participants and families that joined us!! It was a huge success 🙌

Here are a few more pictures from today’s Face to Face retreat. There was a lot of music, games, prayer and reflection as the students focused on the theme of Freedom From Sin.

This was another amazing year of fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society. Our Terry Fox Run raised over $900 this year to fight cancer.
