Our annual School Council Movie Night was another huge success last night. A few hundred families joined us in the gym for The Wild Robot. Thanks to School Council for putting on great evening and a special thanks goes to those families who brought donation for our local food bank.

We feel so blessed to have celebrated Student Faith Week with our amazing school community! Throughout the week, our students engaged in meaningful activities, sang, danced, and deepened their faith, drawing closer to God and each other. What a beautiful journey of connection and spiritual growth 💙💛🙏🏼

Our Catholic Social Teaching for the month of November is Solidarity. Believe it or not summer is officially coming to an end. Once again this year we will be having an open house on the day before school starts. This is a great opportunity to drop off school supplies, see where your child's class will be this year and meet their new teacher. We hope to see you all next Tuesday afternoon.

Before and After School Care is now available at École Good Shepherd School in Okotoks! Care will be available to registered students in kindergarten to Grade 6 from 7 am - 6 pm including non-instructional days and early dismissal days. Registrations are first-come, first-served basis. Today we are having a huge book exchange in the gym. Last week, students brought in previously read books that they no longer need at home and today those books are finding a new home. Students will be bringing home a whole bunch of new books to read over the coming weeks and months.

The Grade 2s have been fortunate enough to have Rowan House come in and chat with them a few times over the last several months about healthy friendships, kindness, and conflict resolution. The kids have had a chance to watch videos, work on activities, and continue these conversations in their classrooms 💙💛🙏🏼 #healthyrelationships #rowanhouse

This morning we had 25 students in grade five and another 25 students in grade six participate in a national math contest out of Montreal. There were definitely some tricky questions but we’re sure the hard work our kids put in will pay off. We now send the answer sheets off to be marked and we should get results at the beginning of June.
