At this afternoon’s CLC our staff dove into the new science curriculum to learn about what computer science looks like in the kindergarten to grade six program. We even had the opportunity to do a bit of programming using Micro:bits. The staff had a lot of fun with it and it was a real eye opener in ways we can make this come to life for our students.
Just a few days left before our choir heads to High River to compete in the High River Music Festival on Monday morning. They are very excited and sounding amazing.
Here is video from one of the songs they were working on in this afternoons practice session. I’m sure you’ll agree, they sound amazing!
Dr. Courtney Wilcox (Optometrist) came to chat with Mr. Prescott's and Mrs. Losoncy's Gr.2 classes about their eyes and the importance of keeping them safe and healthy! 👀
Wondering what teachers are up to this weekend ?! #reportcardweekend #term2 #goodluck #yougotthis #crunchtime

This morning the grade two classes from Good Shepherd, St. Mary’s and St. Francis all attended morning mass at St. James. They were all very well behaved. Throughout the year every grade has a grade level mass where they are bussed to St. James to attend the 10:00 a.m. mass. It is a way for us the continue to develop the students spiritually.
