Christmas theme day tomorrow before our last day before break 🎅🥰🎉

Here is a video of the grade six’s playing a carol at last night’s Christmas concert.

It’s truly amazing how far students can progress in two and a half months. Our grade sixes received their instruments at the end of September and put on an amazing Christmas concert last night here in the gym. Great job students and way to go Mr. Bassett.

Our grade one classes put on a great version of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas at Monday’s Christmas Concert. They did great reading their lines and sang amazingly in both English and French.

Did you know?! Our school has an earth angel who shops, and prepares homemade and healthy food for our healthy food program ❤️ This serves students who may need a little extra snack throughout our day! Please give a big shoutout to our Grandma Deb 🥰👼 We are so blessed to have you 🙏

Our schoolwide Survivor game has officially begun! This year is a Disney theme. In order to get into the game each class had to build a Disney themed vessel and make their way to Grumpy Queen Clisdell's lair. Their task was to cheer her up and increase her joy meter in order to get into the game. The school spirit was incredible!

Last week we hosted a Coffee House for our incredible Support Staff as a thank you for all that they do to support our school! They also participated in a Magic of Christmas gift exchange.

What an amazing performance tonight by our Grade 3 students! We saw incredible reading, acting, and singing in both English and French. Their concert was a modern, humorous twist on the classic tale of “The Night Before Christmas”, with an important reminder: the reason for the season is Jesus! Well done Grade 3!

December 6th to 12th was Computer Science Education Week. Our Grade 5 classes took part in various activities throughout the week aimed at introducing coding and developing students' problem solving skills. The students enjoyed taking part in Hour of Code and a Nasa presentation. Wow! That was some amazing singing grade twos! Our grade two concert told the story of the nativity from the perspective of star over the manger and included eight songs. There was a ton of enthusiasm from the students in the reading, acting and singing!

Holiday Art was in full force for Gym classes today! The students had so much fun running laps and collecting props to build their art piece 👏🎄🥰
